Advisory Committee

The General Assembly established an Advisory Committee for the Office of the Child Advocate in 2014. The committee is made up of local professionals from different fields. The Child Advocate or their professional association appoints each member. All committee members are dedicated to improving the child welfare system. They work to guide and support the Office of the Child Advocate. Their role is to advise on the complex issues within the child welfare system.
